Taste of the Wild is all about adventures with its “Pack.” The branding is marked by an energetic spirit and love of the outdoors.

Diamond and Taste of the Wild are the two largest brands under the Diamond Pet Foods umbrella.
In my years on these brands, I named and launched products, wrote (and rewrote, and QA’d) the websites, wrote countless B2C and occasional B2B emails, scripted videos, brainstormed and executed social campaigns, memed, developed trade show booths, developed e-commerce messaging, created and updated POP and brochures, and much more.
The family-owned company was hyper-conscious of legals and claims, frequently requiring messaging updates with creative workarounds.

Brand Launch
When people started to become wary of grain-free formulations, Taste of the Wild wanted to fill the grain gap for their health-conscious target market. We launched Taste of the Wild with Ancient Grains with a website addition, POP kit, microvideos, social posts/ads and an Influenster campaign.
Contests
Taste of the Wild ran multiple contests every year. Working with the Social and Account teams, producers and social media designers, we brainstormed, concepted and branded, set goals, launched, managed and reflected on successes and shortcomings.
In my role, I often wrote contest emails, landing pages, social graphic copy and microvideos, in addition to weighing in on naming (favorite example: “Paws Pet Play", a puppified FabFitFun that was Wildly successful), advising on voice and copy points to the Social team and QAing tactics before they went live.
Here’s a smattering (underused word) of work from various contests:
